Cookie policy
Last updated: October 3, 2026. We use essential browser storage for authentication and guest access, and optional local storage for guest research history. No advertising or analytics cookies are currently installed by this app.
Essential storage
The ciaai_guest cookie and ciaai_guest_id browser storage identify a guest for access. The cookie lasts up to one year. Supabase stores the sign-in session in browser storage when you log in. Your privacy preference is saved as gi_cookie_choice_v1. These are necessary for the corresponding features to work and are not controlled by the optional history choice.
Optional guest history
If you choose “Allow history on this device,” up to 30 recent guest research sessions are stored locally as ciaai_history. If you choose “Essential only,” that local history is removed and future guest sessions are not saved locally. Signed-in account history is stored with your account, not in this optional guest-history store.
Change your choice
Use the “Privacy choices” link in the footer at any time to change your selection. Clearing your browser data also removes local history and the stored preference; you will be asked again. See Privacy & Data for research data sent to search and AI providers.
